Phill and Anneke Taylor Phill, from England and Anneke, from Holland started to work with YWAM 1989 in Holland. First part-time and in 1995 God called them fulltime to Sweden. In the year 2000 Phill was part of a team that walked through Sweden. He walked from Treriksröset to Avesta and prayed for the country. God lead them to Bäsksele, a little village in the Vilhelmina County where they bought a farm and started their work. Interested in the outdoors and pursuits related to the vast wilderness in the north of Scandinavia they feel right at home, and aim to use the nature at their doorstep to reveal God to others and bring hope to communities. |

Apart from their
love for the bible, they both enjoy working with their
hands. Phill enjoys being out in the forest and working
with wood, Anneke with various crafts such as her new
found hobby of luffarsljöd(making objects from iron
wire - a traditional craft from the area) Since YWAM is a fully volunteer organisation, no one receives a salary. Each worker looks to God for his/her own support.
